The music that is played is so slow and so boring that we soon minds our starting to wander and we find our eyes are getting very heavy. Elton John is a British singing sensation is associated with his wild clothing and eclectic life style that we sometimes forget that he is also a truly great musician. When he sits down to play rock piano songs he has written on his grand piano the whole world stops to listen. In addition to proving that piano songs don’t have to be staid and boring and that rock music isn’t just screaming guitars and incoherent vocals, Joel and John have influenced many children and young adults to take piano lessons.

Although Elton John and Billy Joel are perhaps two of the most influential piano rock stars, they are by no means the first ones to add a rock twist to piano songs. Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and Fats Domino were all instrumental in making sure that the piano and piano songs had a place in the world of rock music.

Even the most gifted musician will not be able to simply just sit down at the piano and start playing rock piano songs.
