World of WarCraft: Fulfilling All Your WarCraft Fantasies

For those who are old enough to remember the original version of WarCraft by Blizzard Entertainment, around ten years ago it was just a real time strategy game in a medieval setting. It was very cool back then, and people started wishing for an RPG version when the 3D RPG game genre really hit the big time. Then Blizzard came out with World of WarCraft, otherwise known as WoW, which evolved into the behemoth in the MMORPG industry that it is now.

It’s really easy to see why World of WarCraft is such a hit when comparing it side by side with other role-playing games, whether online or not. No other game has tied so much to the story of the storyline of the WarCraft series, and in World of WarCraft, the events pick off after the story in WarCraft 3: Frozen throne.

Aside from being tied to the original story so much, it’s also the game play, which can make or break a game, and for players, story not withstanding, a good game will ultimately win over the hearts of players from their other online games and make them switch over. There are nine classes to choose from, and soon to be ten classes available all in all, though not all character classes are available in each of the races. Building Ultimate Characters Online

When you create a new character in World of WarCraft, you’ll be asked to pick a side you want and the server you’d like to join, each with its own rules of game play. For the sides, you’ll get to pick between races in the alliance and horde, with five on each side for a total of ten choices, apart from the classes available to each race. Not only that, you’ll also be able to master primary and secondary professions as well. This will let you customize your character a great deal, and when you include the items available in-game in World of WarCraft, you can build what could possibly be the ultimate incarnation of your character and class, thus stomping over everyone else’s during PvP game play or when you’re playing out quests.
